# Haulbound

## What it does
- Reads: orders, order detail, listings with stock/price/value, inventory items, offers,
  fees, transactions, payouts, funds balance, listing traffic, seller standards (11 tools)
- Writes: mark an order shipped with tracking, update a price, update a quantity (3 tools)
- Every write returns a preview and does nothing until confirmed. The confirmation is
  enforced inside the server, not by a client-side setting.

## What it deliberately cannot do
- No refund tool, no payout tool, no cancellation tool — these were never built
- Cannot create or edit listing titles, descriptions or photos
- Does not run unattended; it works inside a conversation the seller starts
- Covers eBay only

## How it differs from the alternatives
- The open-source ebay-mcp server and eBay's own official MCP server are free but run
  locally and require the seller to register as an eBay developer, generate API keys,
  install Node.js and edit a JSON config file. eBay's official server is read-only.
- CorpusIQ connects the same easy way at a similar price but is read-only by design.
- Haulbound is the hosted option that can both read and write without a developer account.

## Compliance
- Uses eBay's official Sell APIs under an approved production keyset
- Registered and signature-verified for eBay's Marketplace Account Deletion notifications
- Seller-side only; eBay's Feb 2026 policy bans buyer-side agents acting without human review
- Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or certified by eBay Inc. or Anthropic PBC
